AI agents & voices

Configure the voice that calls your patients

Bond uses AI voice agents to conduct prescreening calls on your behalf. Before placing any calls, you choose an agent preset — a combination of voice, tone, and language — that the agent uses throughout the conversation. The trial's eligibility criteria and context are automatically loaded in at call time.

Click any preset to make it active — the selected agent is what every outbound call uses until you change it.

Presets & voices

Four built-in presets cover the most common scenarios:

  • Standard — clear, professional, and efficient.
  • Empathetic — warmer tone suited to sensitive conditions.
  • Concise — shorter calls, direct questions.
  • Multilingual — adapts language to the patient.

Create custom presets by cloning any built-in and adjusting the voice and style. The voice selector lets you preview any voice before assigning it. Custom presets are saved to your account and persist across sessions.

System prompt

Each trial has its own agent script, generated automatically from the protocol during processing. You can edit it at any time from the trial's Edit panel. Customizing the script lets you match the language and approach of your team's existing patient outreach.
