Patient discovery

Search live EHR sandboxes from one toolbar

The Patients view lets you search your connected health record systems directly — useful for ad-hoc lookups, testing a new connection, or hand-picking candidates for a trial. It uses the same live data as automated trial matching.

EHR sources

Bond connects to eight health record systems. Two are available immediately with no setup:

  • HAPI FHIR, Cerner — available out of the box.
  • Epic, Athena, Meditech, eClinicalWorks, AdvancedMD, OncoEMR — require API credentials configured by your workspace admin.

The search toolbar automatically hides filters a given provider doesn't support, so you won't encounter errors from unsupported queries.

Interactive
Click a source to switch — providers without credentials are dimmed but selectable to show the empty-state behavior.

Resource badges

Each patient row shows badges for the clinical data that was retrieved:Dx diagnoses, Enc encounters, Obs observations,Rx medications, Proc procedures, and optional resources like Doc documents when the provider supports them.
